Well, besides this seeming to be a suggestion (already made, somewhat), and therefor is misplaced, well, all I can say is "it would be complicated". There is not many who can be trusted as even a temp mod, (cannot think of any right now) and because the majority of the users are pre- to mid-teen, there is a big chance of powertripping and abuse of power.
Double post for pointing out something. Yup, a suggestion, otherwise you might have wanted to phrase it differently. Next thing: Nemo is not happy about these polls, and if it is put somewhere like the games, there is a weird little group that will answer only, while put here, another little weird group would answer. If it was to work, it would have to be a global poll.
Yeah there was a suggestion the same as this a few months ago... I think the responce was somthing about the wheel of moderation etc. and people wouldn't feel right having semi-powers...

I think perhaps if the mods chose 2-3 people who are responsible enough, it could work. But definately no polls. That would be a popularity contest. People wouldn't neccessarily vote the right person for the job.
IIf there were temp. mods, a good way to prevent them from abusing powers if they ever do is by limiting there "mod powaz" and of course has a good reputation among AG members.
Also I don't think that if someone loves power will do some mistake and will abuse his powers, he will hope that if he does a good job, maybe he will become a real mod and then he would start abusing.
Yeah Zega I agree, shouldn't it be in the S+S forums? Lol.
This idea was brought up last year at about the same time as now, and it was shot down. Reason is that AG doesn't want to make "half-mods", they wanted to make it so you are one or you aren't.
