My whole life I am studying math, I have to do math excercises every day. I have searched it a lot, so this is the answer: Suppose that ABCDE x 4 = EDCBA. Since 4A < 10 and A is even, A = 2. Therefore, E = 8. Note that E x 4 must end in 2. It follows that B <= 2 because 23 x 4 > 89. In fact, B = 1 because the two-digit number B2 must be a multiple of 4.
Thus far we have found that 21CD8 x 4 = 8DC12. Observe that D >= 4 and that D8 x 4 ends in 12. Therefore, D = 7. The only possible value of C is 9.
This is basic algebra turned nightmarish. I couldn't solve this with a supercomputer, even though it's very basic. Then again, the highest grade I ever got in algebra was a C-.
ouch. I didn't take algebra II yet, but algebra I was pretty easy. BUT, Geometry is a completely different language. It's like learning Japanese from someone who only speaks Japanese...
Yes,I agree.I wonder why geometry is so hard for many people?
Geometry is hard cause needs a particular way of thinking a logic for answering the problems. It also needs a good memory there are a lot of things to remember and if you forget something you can't solve well nothing. Personally I don't like geometry I find it boring, so during the year I don't have exceptional votes, usually I have 15/20 or 16/20, but at the exams I study a lot, so I get at least 18/20.
Ok, this thread has gone off topic and other than repeating the answer, there isn't much more to offer. If you want to continue your conversation on why math is hard, you can make a new thread.
