Whenever I enter AG, 3 pop-ups come out, always about emoticons and mouse pointers....etc. It gets annoying because my browser freezes for about 30 seconds. My pop-up blocker is set on moderate which means it will only only pop-ups that I were to click on. Can AG do something about this? And I don't want anyone getting all rumbled or shaken up about this because I'm direct. I'm expressing the way I feel about the issue so don't get pushy. =D
I get a Zwinky popup at least once every ten windows. I have a nearly impenetrable firewall and adblock. I have no idea how they get through. They especially happen once I leave a profile to the community. There a major reason why I contemplate leaving. I never will, but it's more than annoying. AG can run operations just fine without popups.
i also had the same problem,pop ups from mouse, emoticons etc. but i changed my explorer into tencent traveler, which is saver then I E... so i dont hve these problems anymore btw, a software is usely not so big, fire fox wont be more then 10 MB
3 pop ups? That's weird, the only one I've ever gotten was like a mouse pointer one or something like that. Since I've started using Google Chrome I've never had any though.
Yes, IE blocks one,then I get the mouse pointe and then I get a full screen ad from a random advertisement company, usually about Casinos or something.
jbgarza2010, the site is set so that the maximum amount of pop-ups you should receive upon first entering the site is only one. If you are experiencing more, you might want to consider running a complete virus scan on your computer. There are some viruses that you can get from other sites on the internet that will generate advertisements and pop-ups on the sites that you visit. So if you are getting that many ads when you visit AG, chances are they might not actually be from us.
Carlie, I don't think my computer has a virus. I do a complete virus scan everyday for my computer and I still get them. And only on this site. I don't get them on youtube, kongregate or newgrounds.

I am not saying we don't have pop-ups, we do. I am saying however that we do not have that many pop-ups. So yes, you should be getting one when you visit AG, but you should not be getting more than that.
On my comp, the pop-up just goes behind the screen I'm on, so when you press "X" it's still there, but when you quit it leaves, I don't really care and I'm saying your making big deal about it. Get Mozzila Forefox, built in pop-up blocker too.
