Okay, I dont know where to really put this, so I'll just put it here for now. __________ One of the Projects I've been working on is on how the subconcious relays us info, and our mind thinks it it real info. This can be seen quite commonly in numbers.
People have already proven that long chains of symbols or numbers can be memorized by cutting them down into units of 7 symbols or numbers, and then treating each group of 7 numbers. A good example of this is seen on survivor, where, although JT had the lead, another guy (with the glasses) memorized all 14 symbols and came from behind to win.
I didn't think much of it until I realized that the number '4' kept popping up in my life. Including me, I have 4 siblings (not parents) in my life. When I made a profile on Runescape, the last three numbers where '1-2-1'. 1+2+1=4. And the number in my profile on Armorgames is '4'.
I started doing experiments on friends, by asking them a question and the answer, and then randomly asking the question again a few weeks later. 4 out of 6 of the friends got the correct answer, and 3 of the said they guessed randomly.
I didn't fully realize what was happening until I begain reading 'The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy', where one of the characters drew out all the tabs from a bag of home-made scrabble peices, and the letters made a sentence, of which the answer is '42'. It was then when I realized that I was on to somthing.
I then decided to see if this 'number-pattern' could be traced on the larger scale of generations. One friend of mine is one of three children. His father was one of six children, and his mother one of three children. 6+3=9, and the square root of nine is three.
Another user here, Kevindude6, has a YouTube account titled: 'ShadeDragon123'. 1+2+3 is 6, and the first profile has a '6' in it. This means that these numbers, 'Kevin' thought, were picked at random. What really happened was that 'Kevin's' sub-concious fed him these numbers, or a series of numbers, to get these results.
After seeing that, I gathered up all of my evidence and compiled it into this report.

Weird how these coincidences work! I don't really have any coincidences with my favourite number... 27. Although I was born on June 27, that's probably the reason why it is my favourite number, lol.
Its all how the numbers can relate to something personal in your life, whether its on the surface, or as something as deep as being a certain generation. 7 and 2 is 9, so maby 9 has something to do with it?
I think you were right Maverick when you said that this isn't a completely "new idea". I've seen thing like this before and I've read The Hitchhiker's Guide series so I know exactly the part your talking about (Arthur Dent makes he own scrabble pieces and keeps them in his ribbit skin pouch). Some people have already expressed how ridiculous they think this concept is but I ten to disagree.
One of the numbers that reoccurs in my life is 8. I was born in August the eighth month. My date of birth is 8/21/1986. Breaking that down and adding the digits to a single digit sum it's 8+2+1+1+9+8+6=35 3+5=8. The number 8 is also a "forbidden" number in one of my favorite book series (Terry Pratchett's Disc World) and can be found by multiplying two numbers that play a promonint role in another of my favorite books (The "meaning of life..." from Hitchhiker's, 42, 4x2=8). The fist two numbers in my house number are 4 and 8. There are many other numbers that occur with some frequency in my life but 8 does seem to appear quite a bit.
10/11/94/... No pattern there... No numbers really occur in my life. To tell the truth, when making a screen name, I do whatever I can not to have numbers.
