I expect him speaking about Diablo II's "Ancient ones", who were named as "Nephalem" (incorrectly, as suggested by one of them DII players).

What are your thoughts about the Nephilim, ReadMatthew24? I'd like to hear them.

I will post it cause I think it should be the thing we are talking about:
Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

The truth is that I find it confusing.

This is prully the least interesting religious topic ever posted. What is there to debate?

To OP: most people here are atheists

should I post a Leviticus topic warning us to make sure to sacrifice our bulls correctly?

Um, Alt, I think genesis is new testament. Don't quote me on it though.

I find the bible more of a morally accurate storybook. Sort of like a giant childrens book. It helps you with life but has 0 real life significance.

So I quoted you on it. It's actually the Old Testament.

morally accurate storybook

So does that mean it's "morally accurate" to offer god animal sacrifice and that it's not okay to be a vegetarian because god said we should eat meat (Romans 14:1-4) and a whole bunch of other things that people don't do any more because they are diturbing and impractical?

In Leviticus 20-something, it details the different type of animal sacrifices, how to dismember them, and where to place the organs.

Leviticus 21 and 22:1-16 are rules that priests are supposed to follow. Lev 22:17-33 are rules regarding "unacceptable sacrifices". I think that may be the one you're thinking of Alt. My copy of the Bibile doesn't actually describe how to do the sacrificing (at least not that I've read so far) but it goes on about how the animal can't be deformed or have sores or warts or injuries. It also says you can't offer "an animal whose testicles are bruised, crushed, torn or cut". It's really pretty horrific. There is a bunch more stuff about it in Leviticus but I can't even bring myself to read all of it.

It talks about the different types of sacrifice - and ho to do them, etc. It's later on in the twenties.
