I rented the movie "Knowing" from blockbuster. Everybody told me it was about a girl from the 50's writing a "forecast" of all future disasters, but I was not planning on the two main characters in the movie dying and those characters's children becoming something like adam and eve. And furthermore, the wisperers part did not make much sense at all. Al this inspired me to create this thread, where you talk about movies that did not make much sense or went totally around what you thought the movie would be like.
The Scar Movies are actually quite funny to me (Scary Movie1, and 2) They were the best, but three and four.. Horrible, and didn't go on with the other two scary movies.
The funny thing is that movie was critically acclaimed and won awards.
Lol every movie wins awards. Or so the commercials say. Like "Best family film of the year!!!" then a week later there's a new best family film of the year, lol.
Oh, and Napoleon Dynamite made no sense. And it was really stupid, I don't know why people found it so funny... It reminds me of the Borat fad, but Borat was actually pretty funny. Just take out the weird scenes and we're good, lol.
Ok Scary Movie was funny But Scary Movie 2 was the best out of all the Scary Movies but when they made scary movie 3 it wasnt even close to being funny and Scary Movie 4 Sucked horridly, it didnt even make any sense so they shouldnt have even made scary movie 3&4 "i rest my case"
I've realized that most comical movies have more than one twist of plot, just so they could add more jokes and make it more funnier. Still, I like them.
It was the dumbest and most unrealistic movies ever. Honestly? Trees releasing chemicals that make the human brain want to commit suicide? It doesn't make any sense!
more than half the movie was dreams you didn't know they were until she woke up, the dad was a broken record "everything's going to be fine", her hallucinations, nose bleeds, and fainting was because she had a tumor in her nose (izzat possible?) and it was removed halfway in the movie, the school counselor was the witch demon thing that gets her soul at 18, supposidly everyone in the school is in on it, at 12:00am on her 18th birthday if she doesn't kill herself she becomes an all powerful demon (cool right?), so right before 12 she has to kill her father with a butcher knife (who knows why) but she stabs herself and nothing happens (she must've transformed), then it fades to black and she's at her graduation party, EVERYTHING is peaceful and happy, she goes into a limo (demons are rich?) and the movie ends
Primer. Worst movie ever. I have a vague idea it's about time travel, but it is sooooo boring. Let me put it in perspective for you. I fell asleep during it, and it was in the afternoon. I really stopped paying attention. For all I know, the show could've been about guys using time travel to go to a restaurant and eat space monkeys in the future, and I really don't care anyway. And bad acting too.
theres no antagonist. the plot is flip-floppy and the only thing that saves this movie are the few, good catchy songs (cant...get...dancing queen...out of head!)
I saw a movie called Big Fish a few years ago, and I still have no idea what it was about.
What's so difficult to understand about that movie? It's a movie about a man who always loves to make up stories in his life. All the characters you guys are talking about which makes appearances in his life are characters that he tells everyone about - that he sees these people and that he has friends who are giants/etc and other seemingly unlikely things. Nobody believes in him because they think he's crazy and just always making up stories. However, the twist is, at the end of the movie you find out that he has never been lying after all and really does have friends like that and really has been through all sorts of odd events in his life! It's a really poignant movie and really deep in meaning if you watch it carefully...
As for movies that didn't make sense, I think The Happening is way on top of my list... Oh... And Transformers 2 as well... That movie makes little sense.
