I listen to neither, but out of the 2 I prefer Nickleback because they have more upbeat and faster songs. Although The Fray has some pretty impressive songs as well.
Hey guys, let's do another battle! Slayer vs. Mozart
About as similar. . . . >.>
I prefer the Fray. Their style is more accessible to me - Kroeger's voice is a little too excessive sometimes. Ironically, their best song is actually a Carlos Santana song with Chad Kroeger as the vocalist - Into the Night. (call that a Nickelback song and I'll shoot you)
The Fray's songs are at least very different from each other. On top of that, I can generally relate to The Fray's songs. They're sad and meaningful. Notably How to Save a Life. That's my favorite one.
Also, I don't like most of Nickelback's songs. Just A few.
I agree. I can't tell the different between a lot of them if I just listen to a few seconds.
So like I said before, I like The Fray better. It also seems like they put more thought into their music. Nickelback's last album is all about sex, which isn't really that great to me. While The Fray has meaningful songs.
Why does everyone have to make vs threads about bands I like.
I like both.
The Fray and there awesome piano playing. And I just can't get enough of there songs. And my favorite songs would have to be Look After You and How to Save a Life.
Nickelback does have similar sounding songs but I still like them. My favorites would have to be Gotta Be Somebody and Rockstar.
