Pick which one was the most successful Punk/rock/alternative band in their time together or still together!

Blink 182- With one of their best songs ever I miss you
New Found Glory- a band that started a lot of fuss and popularity
Or Nirvana- A band that started a new type of music Grunge!

Pick the best out of these three. and if you don't know who they are you are quite frankly a little dumb! HAHA just kiddng

Guys. . .just because you haven't heard of a band doesn't mean they're not special. Ever heard of Faunts? I asked once, but you didn't respond. They're very unique and a great band.

ll I was saying is if I, or too man other people for that matter, haven't heard of them, then there's definitely nothing too special about them

Do you know MC5?
Do you know Black Flag?
Do you know Kid Dynamite?
Do you know Refused?

MC5 is one of the first band to play what was called protopunk...ancestor of Punk
Black Flag was just the biggest hardcore band of all time, according to many people
Kid Dynamite has transormed and influenced Hardcore Punk for generations...
Refused has signed, with The Shape of Punk to Come, what is considered as one of the best hardcore album ever...
It's because you stupid jackass don't know a band that their not special!
Blink 182 are so cuuute!!Everyone love them!!
For christ sake man, you just don't even know the littlest thing about the bands you're talking about...
And I'm only talking about punk, I don't really know other stuff...
But it's not because a band is not known that it's not special...

By the way, my top 5 punk bands (don't listen that much grunge and rock...)
1-The Clash:Just for London Calling, they deserve this place
2-Bad Religien: I've a huge respect for this guys, their just amazing...
3-NOFX: Turned mainstream, but such a great radiation over next generations
4-Flogging Molly: not the most influent, far from it, but on stage it's just crazy, and I love their CDs
5-Refused: hardcore but The Shape of Punk to Come is just a bomb...

I think that Alice In Chains is the best grunge band, along with Pearl Jam. They played more complex music than Nirvana and and had great poetic lyrics. Pearl Jams first album Ten is a F*cking masterpiece, with awesome songs such as Even Flow and Alive. Alice In Chains album Dirt is also awesome, one of my faves ever.

AND the one who started this thread should know that no bands of today can be compared to the grunge and alternative bands of the nineties. Blink 182!? holy sh*t dude
