Answer: Because it's 200 years after the current game.
There are a few ways to go with it though.
The location could be on earth, another planet, or in space.
(Imagine the movement, if it were suddenly three dimensional.)
You could go high tech, low tech, or cross tech, or even anti-zombie!
High tech could include the robots, and perhaps aliens? Hmmm...
Low tech and cross tech would be post-holocaust.
Actually, cross tech seems cool, you come out of a bunker and try to rebuild the world. One mission (or set of missions) could be against cave men, another versus robots, etc. as you try to rebuild the world of men.
I hope that the next game focuses on maybe the war in Vietnam, but nothing past that. It would ruin the series if they went into the future, or even any current wars.
Hi my first post i believe it would be vietnam or desert storm i dont think it would go 1914-1944-2144 and i also saw somewhere that he wasnt making another warfare game:/
Vietnam war would be awesome but i would like war on a fallout (the actually meaning of the word not the game) apocalise looking planet because we whasted the earth etc. etc. Both would be awesome!
the teams should be like this: Riflemen= Laser cannon armed soldiers asault teams= whole conquerors machinegunners= whole defenders snipers= long distance solar gunners bazooka teams= shield bombers mortar teams= short dist bombers officers=commanders tank= armored moving bunker
