Well what sort? I mean like 1st person point of view, or 3rd person point of view in writing. I'm thinking of writing a story, but I can't decide what point of view I should use.
Sorry to ask another question, but how do you prevent the weird symbols when you copy-paste from something like Word? Do you do Microsoft word, then wordpad?
Either you write it in Notepad or, as you said, copy-paste it from Word into Notepad. If you CP it you have to change all the symbols. I write everything in Notepad anyway. I just check the spelling in Word then post it from Notepad.

Word auto-corrects a lot of symbols (main problem is often quotation marks and apostrophes).
If you write in Word (or OpenOffice for that matter), either figure out how to turn auto-correct off, or click Ctrl+z every time you've written one of those symbols.
The lazy-but-more-troublesome way of doing it, is copy/paste into Notepad, then save the document, open it again and see which symbols have been messed up. Then manually correct them.
Do you still want me to lock this thread, or can we just keep it open for random discussion of POVs?
I prefer 3rd omnicient because if ita a story of people that are interconnected, it makes a better story. for example, "Burn After Reading" Is in 3rd Omnicient
