whats the difference

Waffles are harder with the holes, and pancakes are soft without holes or craters.

Waffles are better, because they don't dry out via soaking up syrup, and you can toaster them... ^_^

I like waffles, cuz the butter & syrup gets caught up in the squares, and they have crunchy outsides!

Depends where or who make them at dinner i would rather have French toast

I have to agree with you lamas, I prefer waffels too. Even though they are made from the same type of batch as pancakes, waffels have that crunchiness to it and they just taste delicious.

I like waffles better but I eat pancakes more. They are both great but waffles are better.

i would go with a genetically enhanced waffle/pancake lab creation made to be delicious in every way, shape, and form

Waffles are definitely the best. Especially the Winnie the Pooh kind that has honey in it so it smells really good and tastes better than normal waffles.

I don't really care, it depends what mood im in, but if i had to choose one for life then i would go with pancakes (not the pre-frozen ones, but the ones you make yourself with the liquid batch of it then cook it)

I think pancakes becuase they are smooth and easier to eat waffles are hard and crunchy and i dont like that.

well what do you do? eat them out the freezer!? lol, unless you leave em in forever or too little of a time, they're either good or bad crunchy, normally mine are nice and soft though cause I'm like a trained professional when making them now

I'm English but I've been to America so I would say waffles.
