I was vacationing out in the Southwest with my Dad and when we went to Tombstone Arizona we went to boothill graveyard and in the souvenier shop someone was trying to convince the clerk that the World Trade Center attacks were a Mafia Conspiracy. What the fuck is this? I am Italian and researched things about the mafia and as I see it the mafia infact LOVES America. What are some stupid ones you have heard.

One of my favorites is that a missle hit the pentagon, not a plane, and that the damage done to the pentagon isn't severe enough to be done by a plane.
Of course, what those people fail to realize, is that the pentagon isn't a small building. It's enormous, it's been structurally fortified to resist incredible levels of damage thanks to the reinforced concrete & blast windows.
I read that page HD, and those people are stupid. Saying that it wasn't a plane when there was debris from it and the guy had held uniforms and body parts <.<
I think that all the 9-11 conspiracies theories are stupid. Why do they have to insult the memory of all those people that died by coming up with crack head stories about it?

I can't speak for all of them, but quite of a few of the nuts suggest that it's because the U.S.A. government wanted more oil, so they needed to stage some catastrophic event to generate public support for a war in the middle east, and subsequently control over the oil.

These people are so un-patriotic that it almost sickens me. That's almost treason in my eyes. A law punishable by death.

It's called the "false flag" theory. If a nation is attacked, the people become extremely patriotic and are willing to give up rights for protection. Hitler used this in Nazi Germany. The Reichstag (the German parliament) caught on fire. They accused a communist of starting the fire. Afterwards, all power was given to Hitler in a patriotic fervor. Though the cause of the fire is still not known, it is highly likely that the Nazi's caused the fire to gain political power.
Now, I don't believe that 9/11 was a conspiracy. There are too many contradictions in these conspiracy theories. But don't ever rule out any possibilities.
