they confirmed he was born in Hawaii like 4 days ago or something. I think it is stupid so many rumors are going around about him just because he is the first black president
Why is everyone bringing race into this? If he were a white man with the same policies, I wouldn't feel any differently about him. I think it is stupid that so many people can dismiss any and all negativity about him in their minds just because he is the first black president.

Because his race and father's Muslim heritage make all the paranoid people who can't stand to see him in office, AKA Birthers, accuse him of not being born in the United States.

If the only people who think he's wasn't born in America are racists, there's nothing to even debate or investigate, becuase racists don't run this country. I'm sick of being labeled a racist because I'm a conservative. That's just the lazy way of dismissing my political opinion. By the way, on this issue, I don't know where he was born (I assume Hawaii, I'm not one for conspiracy theories) but I honestly don't care. He's president, that's that.

They may or may not be, but I honestly think they're just hoping for a way to kick him out of office.

Many people say he was born in Kenya because of some phone call his grandmother made, but there's a birth announcement in a Honolulu newspaper with his name, which isn't exactly common.
I suppose his parents put the announcement in the paper because they knew he would be running for president someday, right?

I knew it!

Yaeh, I suppose they can make a lot of noise that way, but once everyone realizes that it's just noise, we can tune it out. If it's composed of people hoping to kick him out of office, it's a little late for that. Even if he was born in Kenya, the people voted for him, he ran, he's already done some stuff in office, so the law might just not let him run again.

Yeah...I'm trying to figure out why there wasn't this big of an uproar against McCain, considering he was born in the Panama Canal Zone, which wasn't technically annexed by the United States at the time.
Maybe if he had won there would be some noise about it, but still.

well the constitution of the usa forbids, any person not born on us territory to run for presidency. if this shall be true for obama(what i strongly doubt) than he could be taken out of office, because he has knowingly broken the constitution.
so yes even though he has been voted on he could be kicked out of office.
but seriously who would lie about the birthplace of his son 50 years ago when the perspective of a black president was not even on the horizon. especially who would suppose that out of all the guys it will be him.
I don't care where he was born. If it was in Hawaii, fine, that's great. If he was born off US sovereign property, then it is legally impossible to have him as president. Of course we'll never know. Don't believe the government or the media. They both have reasons to keep him. And that means they both lie.
