in my opinion macs r way superior compared to pc becaus when u save a document a mac makes 2 copies iv lost precious work on a oc and macs come with garage band photo booth which are fun to use
Errr of course, AlienWare...their configs are blowing... COre i7 Oo...best proc on the market.... I'm jalous... How much does this beauty costs?(I think at least 1800euros...)
A Mac is like a fancy 2 wheel drive car with low horse power, but has built in high quality speaker systems, a tv, and other cool features.
A PC is like a reliable off road, 4 wheel drive jeep or truck. It might not come with the fancy toys, but it has the more reliable componants. Hell, if you want the cool toys, you just have to buy them seperate.
So if you don't plan on using your computer to it's full potentail and you stick to the highway, a Mac might look prettier and serve your needs. It will also be fun.
If you plan on getting some work done, taking it through the mud and the grit of things, go with the PC. It doesn't look as pretty, but it does the job.

i agree with all of this. And if you try to tell me that Mac has better virus protection then windows your wrong its just that there are no viruses for Mac (or not as much) becuase no1 uses them so whats the point in making a virus for it
its just that there are no viruses for Mac (or not as much)
yeah its more like not as much, as there are definitely viruses on the Mac.
I got an ALX X58 Alienware desktop
I was looking at one of those at dell.com and they are truly dream computers, as far as stock computers(as opposed to ones you build yourself) are concerned, at least in my opinion.
The way I see it is that if you care more about performance and price then go with a PC, especially if you like playing video games(more games are compatible with PC's especially older games that you still want to play like for me I got Rome: Total War on my Vista Ultimate computer which is not available on the Mac)
Now I have not used a Mac before so I can't really say anything about the Operation System, but I could care less, since I'm more interested in the hardware, and third party software compatibility. Now granted Mac is becoming more compatible with games as more come out, but the thing is that you would not have much of a choice as far as what parts you want in your computer or the appearance(I'm sorry I don't care what some of you guys say but in my opinion its not a "beautiful" computer inside or out, especially since I can't get one in red last time I checked) and as far as accessories and external hardware are concerned you have very little options. The good news is that you can get some similar hardware like an actual ergonomic keyboard...but you would probably have to buy it off the internet anyways and it seems that most sites that sell Mac hardware on the internet(I can barely find any Mac Hardware around where I live, though I think the area I live in has some sort of conspiracy against art since I also have trouble finding tablets) but from what I have seen most sites that sell Mac hardware outside of the apple site look pretty cheap along with a lot of other keyboards besides the one advertised on the site(who am I kidding that one is poor on my eyes...sorry I just don't like it in comparison to keyboards made by Microsoft) Now as far as appearance is concerned let me do a comparison.

I mean IDK which do you think looks better?
As far as crashing is concerned I have been lucky enough to never get the blue screen of death, but I do know that Macs crash as well, just apparently not as much. I honestly will stick with a PC because I see very few pros so far in getting a Mac.
