Its not a looks competition...anyways,I think Kelly Clarkson is better...Better singing,less anoying songs(girlfrind would be x-trememly anoying) and if you ask me,she is better looking,but I don't really care for either look wise...Carrie Underwood is better looking...

Why even mention him? He has nothing to do with this topic. I'm not partial to either,but Avril gets a slight nod,although I would prefer Sheryl Crow or Alanis Morisette if we're discussing female artists.
They're both not really my style, but I'd say Avril Lavigne is better. Her songs are a bit better and catchier before they get annoying. (which is about a week of hearing it everyday)
