I was putting in this disc into my computer(Vista). It was a small disc, and it was made for the computer. The disc somehow slipped out of the holder thing and instead of falling onto the ground, fell inside the computer. Is there anyway to get it out without hiring a profesional?
Well is that a laptop or a desktop? I would say a desktop, it's quite hard to stuck a CD in a laptop... If it's laptop, go to a constructor agency, for you can't open everything without causing dammages to it... For a desktop, just open your bow, there are screws on it, search for them and open your box, it's safe and you won't cause any dammages if you take a little care...but do it while it's off, and unplugged of course.
Is it stuck in the bottom of the drive, or somewhere in the main body of the computer? If it's the latter, you might actually be able to just open it up and get the disc.

I already opened it up, i couldn't find it. I dodin't want to look too deep because I'm not ery computer savvy.
Why calling a professionnal? SI you disk still in the disc reader? Or is it fallen into the box?
If it's still in the reader, you may unplugged it, but it's hard and I don't recomend it to you...
If it's in your box, just turn the PC off, open it, and find the disc...theer's nothing dangerous, your PC won't be dammaged at all, unless you remove some componenent or unplug a card...but I still open my PC, to vacuum clean it, and it's simple! Try it, and if you find it it's good (don't hesitate to move some wire, as long as you don't unplug them...)
ugh, people. LISTEN! I already said I couldn't find it in the box. I moved some wire, nothing. I think it's in this metal box, the disc thing goes inside it I think. I cant figure out how tog et it open though, i don't have the proper tools(well I could bash it with my hammer, but thatw ould wreck it XD)

If the disc drive is not physically jammed, you can release a disc by straightening a paper clip and insert it into a tiny hole in the front of the drive.
If it is actually inside, you can do what dunadan said (except for the vacuum cleaning). Get a flashlight and look inside the box. The box isn't big at all.
