hey you guys

I have been playing half life since may and after i had finished it i could say only one thing, THE GREATEST GAME OF ALL TIME. its also a very popular game and i was wondering if anyone of you guys had ever played this, and if you do, do you agree with me? I would like to hear your opinion.

I've only played half-life 2 :P

It was an excellent game, though. Not my number one, but very close.

No. It's far from the best game of all time.

The characters & story telling are the weakest part of all of the Half Life games, and they really let the series down. The gameplay is excellent, but without a better story it's going to fall short every time.

i think its great. its not as exagerated as FEAR in terms of horror. the half life expansion packs are however not as good as 1 and 2

It's certainly a very good looking game and I only saw it in SD, I can't imagine how great it looks in HD.

It's very good game in itself but what makes it really great is the mods that are made for its engine (+ metamod/amx mod x which adds modding capabilites for these mods and allows users to modify these mods to be even better).

All of them.

Half Life, HL Op4, HL Blue Shift, HL2, HL2 Ep1, HL2 Ep2.

If I was going to rate the entire series out of ten, I'd give it.. an eight. Specific games might vary a number or two from there.

HL is an excellent game. It gain many awards when it came out, and CS was made out of it so it definitely has a place among best games ever made.

oh the mods are super, they are free and of high quality.
About the online, I sometimes agree, there are too few levels and a limited player choice.
