Half life 2 is a good game, nothing really to moving though, other than the graphics and the new beasts. They never really hold my interest long enough though....so I can honestly say I dont think I have ever finished a HL. Kinda embarassing, but I have to agree HiddenDistance when he says the story is pretty weak. I would have to give it a 7.5/10. Just my thoughts though.

no half-life is without a doubt not the best game ever I would say it was in the maybe top 500

i admit with that, the online play isnt as good as the single player

Half-Life is definitely not the best game of all time but it is a very good one.

Half Life is good, but everyone knows The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is the best game of all time.

I finished all half-life with all the episodes, I played almost all the online modes for this game, and I think I can give it a note, after all I'm kind off a pro. xD

9.7/10 in comparation with all the games in the world.

really fun game, one of my favriots, dosnt beat world of warcraft though, half life can get boring after a while, but I do love the storyline

I'll have to say Half Life is FAR from the best game ever. Whoever made this thread is a fanboy of the series.

It's weakspots are the characters, some parts of gameplay, and difficulty.

The characters seemed all the same. you had some mad scientists, and some underground guards. That's all of the people that even talk. Speaking of talking, the voice acting wasn't good, but it wasn't bad. Some of the few character voices didn't seem to fit.

The gameplay was bland. Esentially, you repeated yourself. Go down this corridor, shoot, break some boxes, go in this vent, shoot the military, repeat. It sort of got boring.

Ah, the difficulty. This game posed no challenge to me whatsoever, I never died a single time, which was disapointing for a hardcore gamer like me.

half-Life is FAR from the best game ever. The Conduit is better, Super Mario Galaxy is better, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is Better, and Metal Gear Solid 4 is better.
