RB is better, it gives you character creations, it has better animations, you get drums, and its got vocals. its a better game when your throwing parties, or just inviting people over, the one thing i dislike about it, is you can not mash the down fret a bunch like you can in GH, it requires you to actually do a double strum up/down
ok what competition is there. rockband all the way man. I mean look it has drums and vocals. The guitar is designed so much better. Oh and people who doesn't like rockband solos.
I think that if you are looking for a solo game to play than Guitar Hero is the way to go because it only has one instrument and is thus forced to make a good single player mode and it is more challenging than rock band. But if you are looking for a great party game than Rock Band is of course a lot better especially with its great replay value because of all of the DLC it has and is still getting.
guitar hero III as it's got a lot more challenging songs and better gameplay guitar hero 4 is gonna blow rockband out of the water though as it will have drums as well
