yea so it randomly came to what if you build something so fast you drove it out of space because as far as I know space isn`t infinite so if you got out of the universe what would it be like would you just fall for ever or be just floating in whiteness.
Well, I'm not sure if you could go out of the Universe. BUT, there are theories of things called Multiverses. Where a group of different Universes are formed into one large one. And so on and so on. So in a way, no you wouldn't see whiteness and you'd just float there because you'd be in another Universe.
Well, theoretically, yes. There is a never ending string of these "multiverses" that continue forever and ever. But with the Big Rip/Crunch theory, this might happen to all the multiverses. And destroying all of this continuous "space"
Well, either way, no one can tell what "nothingness" is, if it exists. If you can go out there and somehow see, 17dman, you should come here and let us know.
The universe is everexpanding but we dont truly understand how it is is expanding considering how we cannot see any end to it. So we must theorize the possibilities of the Universe or Multiverses. For now all we can say is we do not understand the universe in the slightest, humanity has come far in phyisics and science but even with all the information we know the percentage of our intellect in matter and ALL of its forms is a very small percentage indeed.
Not necessarily it is expanding, very rapidly but if it 'runs out of room' then the universe could end just like that, kind of like a reverse Big Boom
The Big Crunch. Yep, I believe that is what a reversal of the Big Bang is called.
This is all shrouded in uncertainty. Too much uncertainty.
This is something you can read about Faster-than-light travel.
I have read of three possible universe death scenarios. The Big Rip, The Big Crunch and the Big Freeze. Then there is a theory called referred to as the Big Bounce, wherein a previous universe collapsed, making way for another "Big Bang" to form a new universe. Then, there is the theory of multiverses.
