Are you kidding me?! I was horrible until I unlocked the MP-40 when I first started playing. I'm Level 65 2nd prestige no, and I'm not going to Prestige anymore, and the MP-40 is the best gun in the game. I did all the Marksman Challenges and Expert Challenges with it. If you honestly hate it that much, use the Type 100. It's pretty good.

Now you know why the Germans produced over a million units Maschinenpistole 40's. (Since I only have COD 3 I don't know much about the weapons of COD 5, but I liked the Fallschirmjagergewehr more).

I have to agree with pauler94 on this one. It is the best gun in the game.

I have never used it, I started with a Thompson unlocked the glass aiming thing yeah I forgot, then When I got the STG - 44 I use that pretty much of the time when I'm not sniping.

My top 5 guns are

1. STG-44
2. Thompson
3. M1A1 Carbine
4. Type 100
5. Mosin Nagant (with Sniper Scope)
peronally i hate the MP40, because it has terrible accuracy

It's like the M16 in Cod 4. Its n overpowered weapon, but in HC
things even out cause two shots from any thing and your dead.

The PPSH -41 is the best sub-machine gun in the game.

The PPSH is prettty good but it burns up ammo so fast. You pretty much need extended clip and bando to make it any good.

I hate the PPSH no matter what. It just makes the games unfair. I get killed a lot by it because it's such rapid fire. I sometimes LOL at people who use double tap with it.

Double tap doesn't do any thing to it. It already has the fast RPM in the game. ( or so it seems to me. I got to go check Xanga) I do know about you but I get killed by rifle nades WAYYY to often..

I used the PPSH but I thought it was a waste of bullets so I stuck with my trusty STG.

yea the mp40 is great, awesome power but bad accuracy, some people hate it and call it a noob weapon but hey if your getting killed by a noob what does that make you...lol...
