Obama is our president. He leads our nation. He is also under lots of preasure. Don't call him names or say how terrible he is. What would you do if someone said that about you, and you were the president?

First of all, what's the point of this thread? But to answer this question, I would take it. I disagree with Obama on a number of issues. I don't namecall, but people are bound to namecall when they disagree with someone. He needs to learn to take it as a politician. If he's doing the best he can, it really shouldn't bother him. If someone said that about me, I wouldn't let it get to me. I'm not saying Obama isn't doing that already, only that we don't need to complain FOR him that people are making fun of him. As a final note, I would like to ask if you have the same opinion about Bush.
Without opposition how will anyone know whether or not they're doing a good job? If we all just did whatever he wanted he'd do whatever he liked, and the U.S. would be more vulnerable to dictatorships.

No problem with talking, I mean why did you start an entire thread on it? We have like five Obama threads. Then again, there is one entirely devoted to Obama and Hitler. Just be forewarned, within a few pages, this'll probably be like all the rest.
We really can't same much it's only been a couple months. Bush on the other hand, I can go on for quite a while...
Oh yeah, I didn't mean anything political by it. All I meant was that you could replace Obama with Bush. Once you come across say 2005-2006, when most of his supporters were gone, what was he supposed to do to please everybody? Their opinions were pretty much set and stone. Obama has unfairly come at kind of a set and stone state before there's a chance to see the effect of his stimulous package and health care and all the other stuff he wants to do.
