i would like AG to have a messaging system worth 2 AP or 1 or whtever
just so we can have something that isnt completely open to everyone on this site lol if you think about it everyone on this site can read anything you say and i think it'd be sick if there was a messaging system so we could have a little more privacy
I like the idea. Everyone is going to say that it is going to be a bad idea because people would just curse and stuff. Having AP in it would never pass though. Also people will say that it would be too glitchy and take time. But I like it. lol

i think the only reason they ban you for cussing is because you say it in public, and its for kids or w.e i dont think it matters in private where two people dont care

However, there are a few problems, for example... mods would not be able to see the messages if someone has a problem. As well, mods would not be able to keep track or even see the spam. That is why it cannot incorporate AP.
I would like a pm system, but right now we just have to stick to MSN, facebook, stuff like that.
Maybe if the mods had the power to see the private messages, or even just the admins. This would probably reduce the amount of problems with harassment, etc. It's probably just easier to use MSN or other types of chat though.
I think he is trying to say is that mods shouldn't be able to see the messages. What kind of private messaging it is when a mod is looking over your shoulder?
yeah just another suggestion that couldnt really happen i guess and the only problem that i see would be harassment, and there's not much you could do about that i dont think mods and admins would be able to catch too many but the only solution for harrassment is to simply complain to a mod, and if they have access to the messages they can check it out and decide right??
I'm sure if the mods are mods... they are chosen for a reason. I think they will have good enough character not to go spying on anyone (supposedly) lol.
If the mods can't see it I guess the only way to show harassment is if the user takes a screenshot of the message and sends it to a mod. Then they could probably deal with it.

They could also be posting racial slurs, porn, stuff like that... so that is something you would have to show to a mod, because it's a serious problem.

exactly the only problems could just simply be taken to a mod and so i dont see why it couldnt happen lol
