i would like AG to have a messaging system
worth 2 AP or 1 or whtever

just so we can have something that isnt completely open to everyone on this site
lol
if you think about it everyone on this site can read anything you say
and i think it'd be sick if there was a messaging system so we could have a little more privacy

tell me what you think

It's a good idea, though the problem of harassment you brought up brings us a problem: how do we prevent it?

What if the mail goes through one of the admins (Or mods, I guess) and has to be approved before being sent?

Which, I guess, brings up another issue of mods not being active enough and urgent messages not being sent fast enough...

Err... Well, I said all I have to say. >.<

I think there would be way too many messages for mods and admins to approve them all... it would take forever to validate all those messages...

manta, if you get harrassed let a mod know about it
and they could do something
there may not be ways to prevent it but still, as soon as it happens you could tell a mod and they could severely punish that person

so it wouldnt neccisarily need to go through them

A messaging system might be nice, but it's not something I really care about. If you need to say something really private to someone just IM them or something.

I don't think spam would be too much of a problem, just put the 30 second rule on that too.
