The whole point of a debate is to win over the opposing side to your point of view. Of course it's going to get heated. Expecially when you bring up politics or religion, that's where it's the worst.
Sorry, this thread shouldn't go anywhere. All apologies should be made in person.
They wouldn't call it a debate if you dont argue. I mean come on now, nobody is going to apologize because they are posting there point of view.
