I say no because they killed millions of inocent kids, teens... They had no roght to but because they did kill millions the world is'nt over populated. Hittler he started WorldWarII he should'nt have but he did he and the NAZI'S tried to rule the world but FAILED "YAY" he would have killed more and more if he ruled the world but his invasion was stopped.!
google is even less reliable as a source then wikipedia. using google directs you to pages, using the words you searched for. there is no guarantee for truth and noone can change or edit what someone has posted on his homepage
Of corse Nazis from the 3rd Reich should still be here, I am not saying they all should. But most of them - just normal citizens oberying there supreme leader, what other chose did they have - Support Hitler, or die. Most German Soldiers were like your regular Armerican, Canadian, Russian, British, (ect...) soldier. I personaly have nothing agiants them, just there Facist Government.
So then you are saying that everything on the internet is false then, even though not everything is. You make a contradiction that's goes no where, circular arguments make no sense, why start them?
i never said that everything is false. i have simply shown, that wikipedia is more reliable than google.
1. on wikipedia, you have at least a community, that can and does monitor entries, so that really bad posts get edited or removed. you dont have that on google, which only redirects you to webpages. so if you are not careful you end up reading really made up stuff.
2. mostly one of the first hits when using google is wikipedia.
so if you want to present valid proof, then you have to use a reliable source(which can be found via google).
Wouldn't you want to compare sources though don? Check to see if the info is right? That's what you use google for, to check or see if the information on that documentary or article isr ight.
great way to do it. thats how research should happen. you can do it also through wikipedia, where you first have the article(which in most cases is right and without mistakes(check google on that)) and underneath you have a list of sources you can check.
so i think we can agree that neither wiki or google are reliable by themselves, but its the humans responsibility to minimaze the risk of spreading wrong info by comparing sources and taking a minute to think what is true and what isnt
Getting information from biased teachers doesn't help either.
there is no such thing as an objective source. each topic can be aproached from different perspectives and therefore always pledges in favor of an opinion. the only way is to compare all sources and decide or oneself what to consider to be a fact or what not. and the conclusion of this will not be the objective truth but a subjective one.
i mean most sources agree on general topics, but it is the details and conclusions that are different. undisputible and objective truth can be only obtained on a very general level
I have had so many conflicting teachs from both my teacher last year and this year both claim a different thing is true but I don't know where to get the right info, that's why I read on only facts not opinions.
sorry to hear that you have teachers of that kind. it is really sad that we all had them.
i think it is really difficult to find sources, that only write on a factual level. most have at least a hidden opinion in it or try to make people make the "right" conclusions from the facts presented.
we can see this every day. whenever there is an arguement about a topic, each side will present facts to undermine its opinion. often the same facts are used and presented differently. thats why the choice of a source is very important.
