An old teacher of mines father was in the military and had to gaurd Gandhi's body when he died.
But I i am not sure if this is true but, His wife was sick and he refused for her to have life saving peniclin

Well she wanted to die and often said it was her time as she was 77, she suffered a lot from Bronchitis and the pennicilin didn't have a 100% chance of working, a lot of doctors said it wouldn't help her anymore,it would have been injected into her multiple times too.

I've written a few reports on Gandhi, he was a pretty awesome guy. He was able to change so many things, without so much as laying a finger on another person.

Very encouraging for the human race.

Yeah, I mean asides from the part where he was a huge racist & hated black people, but he also slept with (thought didn't have sex with) little girls, and gave them enemas.

(it's a long read)

Please keep in mind, I'm not bashing the things that he managed to accomplish, but he's definitely not the saint everyone thought he was.

Wasn't that like the stupidist move ever? It was obvious the Muslims were just holding the Hindu back. I mean, look at how the two have done.

Don't take this the wrong way, I like Indians, but I think it was better under English rule.

and indians and pakistanis worked together to break the english reign that was over india because the were 1 country then pakistan got independence

yeah, but it was called india. bangladesh was also a part of it.


oh ya at first bangladesh was call east pakistan then india started war and west pakistan ( the 1 we know now) couldnt get supplies to east pakistan then it was called bangladesh
