I think that george Bush could possible be the worst president that we have ever had, we are trillions of dollars in debt and we are in a war that appears to have no ending, please tell me what you think.
^Why do you say that? I don't know anything about Canadian politics, but you don't see me insulting your leaders. It's statements and attitudes like that that start wars.
no doubt in my mind the worst president we have ever had. The things he did to this country will take years and years to turn around. Some of the things he has said on t.v. and during pres confreances is just so dame sad. Im sad for this country
^You bring nothing to the discussion. All you do is make fun of the way he talks. What things has he, in your opinion, done that will be difficult to turn around? Or do you just believe all the shit your friends tell you to? It seems like the latter to me.
the way he talks no i dont care about the way he talks. THe fact that during a pres confrence he admited that he didnt know gas was going to be four dollard a gallon and was shocked when the reporter told him that was true. Or should i bring up iraq
^Yes. Bring it up. Bring up the fact that most people in his role would have done the exact same thing if they had the same information that he had. The CIA (a very reliable source, if you ask me) GAVE HIM information that Iraq did, in fact, have WMDs. And evidence suggests that they DID have them, but moved them out before we went in. You don't know the situation that was taking place, don't assume you do. The fact that gas is four dollars a gallon shocks us all (even though it's not that much here), why should he be any different?
Some say he wants the cash. He does own oil plants.
Also, I do find his way of speech funny. But nothing to be rude about, They laughed at Bill Clinton, Too.
[Average Gas: 3.29$] [Average Diesel:3.99 and nine tenths of a cent. (4$)]
Also, If I was in his role and I noticed that the army was short and if we DID go in we'd go in cruddy, many people along with me, I bet. WOULDNT have gone in. As commander in cheif, its not that "He's still a good president, even though he's sent troops in a very bad manner". YOU HAVE A PROBLEM THERE. Troops are important, they are like gold to the country as they are the pillars of a building. With the way its gone, the money its wasted, the lives its snapped off. His title of "Commander and Cheif of the U.S. Army" should be cut.
No, it shouldn't I would fight and die for him, as I would any president. Unless you take him out of office by the process established by the constitution, he has every right to do what he wants. Which is why I don't want Clinton in office - she'll slash the military ASAP. The only reason Bush had such a hard time with troops was because of the FIRST Clinton in office. Do you really want to give them a chance to do that again? I don't.
Yeah, in 1995 Clinton had killed the army. Though, afterwards, Expeccially at Bill Clintons leave, the defence budget had been put back to normal lines. A bit lower than 300Bill. That was mainly because the cold war was finished, the USSR (Union of Socialist Soviet Republics] [I remember it. XD] had collapsed. POOF. America had better things to do. I doubt all those jobs he made could have been created without him. So, Military budget is normal, after that bush comes in. Bush increased military budget spending by a TON. Expeccially and it has now rose to 804 Billion. [Whipee. More than vietnam. WOW]
But, because of the war, and the murderous increase that happened all to ast, the military has the cash but not the people. People aren't interested, Bill clinton was rather radical, thats why I'd rather go for Obama. Since right now, Our budgets been going higher. [Statistically it would uprise the army] sadly, even with the super-budget, troops are declining, fast. So, I'm pretty sure that the extra money will be wasted on war supplys that America doesnn't need. Besides reconstructing the army. So, a cut is probably certain. I do NOT want the American Def. Budget flying to 1.2 Billion again.
Bush is horrible, but what can we do about that? All that matters now is that we elect someone that can help everyone. The bright side is that Bush can make any president look good. Oh, wait, thats not that bright.
^He can't make any president look good. What kind of bullshit are they feeding you children? We've had FAR worse presidents before, and you kids need to realize that before you make hasty comments like the one you just made. All it does is make you look ignorant. I'm a proud supporter of Bush. I know I'm in the minority, but I'd stand by that nonetheless.
I think that Mr. Bush has had a really hard job, harder then other presidents. His first term 9/11 happened, then he started two wars, one of which I am a veteran from serving in Iraq. While I don't blame him for starting the wars he is responsible. There are much better ways to handle things then he has. Look at us now. At the five year mark of Iraq we have over 3,000 KIA, over 30,000 wounded, our own economy is in the dumps from the recession (yes that is right "recession" and the US dollar is the lowest is has been since I have been alive. I am a veteran, paying my own way through school, and I just paid $40 for a tank of gas. I am not sure if any of the future candidates will be able to fix that. Yeah, Mr. Bush is not the best, and I would not want to be in his shoes (not only from the poop that is caked up on them) but I don't see any short term resolution to our problems.
