But I agree with Klaushouse it isn't that necesary... all the sports threads I have seen have either been about American sports in which case.... or about Football and they end up wildly off topic. They fit well enough in pop media and the tavern. Then again if Sonny gets a section....
Look at the amount of pages of threads sonny has. Last I checked it was 56, and before the section was put in, the flash games section and tavern was crowded with sonny threads. But sports, its rare to come by a sports thread, maybe one a week. There is no need for one.
Hey,if videogames are the archenemy's of sports,why are there so many sports video games that out sell other video games? I love sports and video games.
Also, the Sonny section was made due to its popularity. the way I see it, once there are enough sports threads for 46 pages in its own section, it will be needed.
Like others have said, I don't think sports are popular enough here on AG to have their own forum. A lot of the people here on AG aren't that into sports, and the ones that are would probably choose actually playing it over talking about it most the time.
Lol...sports are REALLY important...why do u think athletes get paid millions...Most get paid more than the president...billions of people watch sports....look at the new COWBOYS stadium it is worth BILLIONS or about one, but still MONEY is important and alot of it is thrown over to sports....COMPANYS fight over spots during the superbowl...which cost millions...what more do i need to say...sports are peoples life and a life is more important than anything....

Capitalizing words made that a much larger impact on me. Mainly because I knew I was about to read gibberish. Money doesn't create importance, your argument is fallacious. Sports aren't important, they are a pastime. Arguing that world events and religion aren't as important to the world as sports is not even worth me going on about, because such stupidity speaks for itself.

It's very rare that I speak about my money, and I won't. But trust me, I am not jealous of athletes' money, I live a very comfortable life, and I still think it's a stupid idea.

AG was built from the ground up, there is a high probability that a sub forum doesn't even exist that is built it, and spending any time working on it, especially for a sports section that isn't even needed, won't happen.
