Soo... My first English assignment was to read, the short-story, The Pedistrian by Ray Bradbury. It was allhrite. In that story it seemed that computers took just about all the jobs in the world. Is that a plausible idea? Will computers eventually lay off too many jobs?
The three things computers are better than humans at: 1. They are faster 2. They do not forget 3. They are more accurate
perhaps like the movie by Will Smith 'i-robot', when AI have consciousness, they don't want to be 'off' or shut down.
The movie from Japan, Ghost in The Shell, it's kinda hard to understand, but Matrix is based on this movie, Matrix just make it better and simpler.

AI is interesting, but you can check on youtube that robot is far more advanced in Japan, and yes, they finished make a gundam worth 1 Billion dollar in Japan.
No, that will probroble never happen, first, we are able to think of better ways of doing things, comps always do it the way there programmed never changing it for the better. Next, computers can forget, most computers that do work nowadays for like traffic lights and machines, do hourly defrags, this cause important stuff to be lost. Finally, computers break down much easier, and can be hacked, this can lead to MANY problems. Comps will never be better then humans.

What you said is wrong. Defragmentation is not the same as deletion. Defragmentation works to gather together fragmentated data and physically arrange it in order. Deletion is well, deletion.

There are already scientists trying to make computers more human-like. If possible a computer that is advanced enough could be run without being programmed. That's far in the future though.

About breaking down, I don't get that. As for hacking, if artificial intelligence was developed enough it would be able to combat hacking very effectively.
Hmm, so computers won't take over. we make computers so we can avoid the work, and have fun. If computers take over, humans will not have any fun anymore.
Well, they aren't taking over the world, but they might take over all jobs. Who knows? Maybe they might even replace Porn Stars.
In the movies computers will cause us more trouble than help us. Anyways, if computers take over all the work and doing everything, there won't be much to do for us :/
As long as we have a 'Kill Switch' for the computers we should be OK, but a Computer/Robot thta could reproduce itself with no human influence would be a big threat to humanity, it'll be like very clever, and strong mice...
When we see it, will we accept it? If we don't like it, why make it?
There will be many who won't accept but you can never be sure about that.
Maybe they might even replace Porn Stars.
That would be strange.

Remember that if computers are advanced enough, they won't be stopped by a kill switch too easily. They'll be smart enough to defend themselves against such.
