Anyone interested in this? If you sign up, you could start with... say 10000 VP (virtual points). You could bet them on certain sporting events posted. I could keep track of the points and post events to be bet on (ie: baseball, football, hockey, etc.), and keep track of standings.
The person with the most VP by the end of, say a month could win something. For example, a merit. However, I have not talked to the mods about a merit or any of this, and it is doubtful that this contest will have a merit prize, because it doesn't require creating anything.
You can only bet: 50% of your VP per event on normal events 70% of your VP on playoff events (only in leagues like NHL, NBA, NFL, etc.) 90% of your VP on championship events (such as the super bowl, stanley cup finals, etc.)

Once we have five or more I will start up the "official rules" thread. I might not get to making it till tonight though.

Hmmmm...I think so. AG Bets Day 1, AG Bets Day 2 or Card 1, Card 2 with all the events available to be betting on that day.

And will you keep track of our VP along with US, as some sort of official tally if their is ever a dispute, but why would there be? its virtual betting after all...i dono

There's one last thing that you forgot. Probably the only true betters sport, horse racing.
I guess...and do you think there will be odds? or is it plain old, bet on 1 team, if you lose you lose what you bet, if you win you win your bet x 2?
There is this facebook group sportsbets which can help you keep track of matches in lots of leagues if you check it ot. You could also steal their odds if you want =P
I'll had horse racing. I think I'll keep the rules and "official" VP standings in the "official thread", and make a new thread every 2 days to reduce the clutter of a really long thread. I will count the tally so there are no disputes. Fear not, I am taking Math 12 :P
And be warned, I won't be able to update this every single day, so if I miss a day every once in a while please don't yell at me! :P Lol
