Anyone interested in this? If you sign up, you could start with... say 10000 VP (virtual points). You could bet them on certain sporting events posted. I could keep track of the points and post events to be bet on (ie: baseball, football, hockey, etc.), and keep track of standings.

The person with the most VP by the end of, say a month could win something. For example, a merit. However, I have not talked to the mods about a merit or any of this, and it is doubtful that this contest will have a merit prize, because it doesn't require creating anything.

Anyone interested in this?

I would like to join, if it is anything besides American Baseball or Football, I would probably guess.

You only have to bet on the events you want to, as long as they are listed by Shayneii as available for betting on

But maybe this will encourage you to watch other sports.

Check out all the rules in the forum games, this is an old thread, the most recent betting thread is AGBL Betting AUG 26/27 2009.

If you are curious about the time difference. For Pacific Standard Time it is 9:27 AM, August 26th. Today and tomorrow the only betting is on baseball, because of a lack of games in other leagues. But we've got MLB, NFL, CFL, NHL, NBA, Barclays Premier League, and I think UEFA Chanmpions League.

Just to be clear the rules are in the forum games section, the betting is in the tavern.

And...no I can't tell you how far behind you Pacific Standars Time is...since I don't know...
