So, since my last competition was pretty much a discussion, I'll now close that and move over to this general colony discussion (the others are all specific)
TALK ABOUT ANYTHING RELATED TO COLONY (and beef burgers)
i hate hackers/glichers they are noobs or they are just naturally retarded. hackers are usually guests because the website they are on wont let them log in so they have to be a guest.
colony is a pretty good game but i do think not all guests are hackers/glichers. it is a good game yes. but it is only good on quick play. i wouldn't say that it is the flash game. but that is only my opinion just so you know. i still hope all of you like krin's games.
The people that I dislike are glitchers, hackers, deserters, scammers, etc. They really take the fun out the game from other people and themselves.
Anyways, I was quite surprised about how there are fewer people on Colony. I came on one day, after a few months for a break, and I only saw 5-8 people in the lobby, not including myself. At a xat chat room, some of my old Colony friends told me that there are a bunch of hackers out there. I did not see 1 person who actually hacked in the game. I played a good 4 games. I had a great time catching up.
AnbuHank, I have seen this also. I went on yesterday and only saw liquidtlo and a few noobs. The state of Colony is out of the communities hands. I actually think Colony almost dead for good. Even if Jakrin updates Colony, the player base will only increase about 100 people about 2 weeks after it happens. You may think I am crazy, but the player base never stabilized itself after the first wave of cheaters, I think v1.16. The player base also decreases every major update. Colony was a spectacular game in its hey-day (i think this is the phrase I'm looking for). I spent about 20 months on this game, from July (2009) to current, and the memories were great. I be posting later after 10:00pm EST.
first of all colony doesnt have that many players again but its not dead by any means...Me, speakerforthedead, tdh, borxa, lordiano, powerofsauce, eachday, and a bunch others still play the game and i practice regularly with the best people.
theres alot of noobs to beat up on but theres alot of hackers to tbh and glitching is easier than ever... kruncher plays and i seen him glitch almost looking like a hacker. Colony is still good its much harder now and i have epic build that beats anything from tdh. So you could say me and him are ALMOST the best. he is but i have a score to settle with some cocky people and they not gonna like me when im done with em 1v1
I saw you on last weekend but, but beside you and tlo I haven't seen anyone on. I did say it is nearing death. Jakrin needs to patch really soon or the old pros will be the only one playing it. the reason why not many players are on is because of the cheaters who are giving noobs a bad impression of the game.
yeah true plus i thought i heard krin isnt updating it no more. He has plans for a colony 2 in the future? anyway i could care less if its just all pros, more fun games. More 1v1's. Soo yeah, i think colony is gonna be doomed sooner or later but there people who appreciate it
