TALK ABOUT ANYTHING RELATED TO COLONY (and beef burgers)
AHHHHHH Endscape hates thatttttt taking control of his units.....especially when its his noob partner doing it..... but Endscape is an AMERICAN and he loves his AMERICAN burgers.... p.s. U DO NOTTT want to know wats the largest burger u can get.... for lack of a better word, its a heart attack..... ill stick to big macks XD
yum ...big macks....... yes nooby partners r so anoying ...when they control your units....what you do in that cas is leave the game or tell everyone he is hacking a tell them to glich back...and if they dont know how tell themm.....i have pride...so dont mind losing if my partner is hacking or gliching case they deserve it..... what would u lot do?

coool, but my anti foxer stratergy needs a bit of tweeking, peggy is too strong against it, when i devised it i was not expecting missiles.... i think i can counter that with erly glads, but.......foxer is diamond.... yos your right....very hard to counter sucsesfuly
Communist needs a buff because it is by far the weakest and most useless government in the game. I have the new Communist build that works really well vs noobs, but it won't last in a pro. game.
Monarchy needs a slight nerf, because it earns the most base resources.
Marines need to cost more, or Scouts & A25-Romans need to cost less.
Chronite Tank splash needs to be slightly smaller.
Special Forces, Saints, Mod Sakatas, and Rescue Squad all need cost changes.
Grodtiz should have more health so they become cost efective. 3 missiles should be needed to kill it.
you are so right. if krin ever makes a colony 2... which i hope he dose maby all these can be fixed.....
there should be flying android units...and you should be able to buy the super marien from the spec squad for somthing like 20 manpower...
aa sakatas are to strong and ground to weak...and the mod sakats in late game suck so they need a boost in range...
scout need to be better
cronite tanks are way too godd in erly game.. they should cost more and have a smaller splash...(i did a thing with a freind.....when you have spend the same amount of resoeces on cronite and hover in large numbers shooting 1 shot cronite are better...tons of splash...
glads need longer rang case they die in 1v1 with hover ........... and so many more
gronzits should have alot more life or dammaoge seeing as they do no splash
i belive saints are too strong...with saint costing 100 lets say.... the foxer would be almost useless
all air units are too weak bar bqs because of aa szkata and sphinxes wich both deal masses of damage to all air units...
does anyone here think that a colony app on the iphone/ipod would be soo cool ....and does anybody know if there will be a colony 2 or somthing along that line
I think that Saints cost is fine, it only takes a few snipers or ops teams to kill one. Just need to be careful of missiles.:L
Sakata AA are so powerful because they are literally useless at everything else and they die 2 hit from hovers, cronite, missiles.
Gorditz do need a big boost though seeing as they require an armory to create and are much more useless than snipers.
There was speak of a Colony 2 but you have to bear in mind that Krin is busy creating other games which would mean if he did ever make it, it would be in the long and distant future.
I don't remember Krin ever saying anything about Colony 2, and I believe that there will never be a Colony for a long time.
If he wanted to make a Colony 2, the least work he could do is a new and better campaign. Games are not called sequals just because they have more objects to play with, but the story behind the gameplay. With a game like this, you can't just sit down and say I'm goign to make a new campaign and release it as a sequal.
If there is a Colony 2, this is what will have to be done for it to be successful without people disliking it and the prequal:
-Improve Interface
-Add More CPU Settings : Easy, Medium, Medium*1.5 (the difference in skill from medium to hard is huge right now), Hard, Hard*1.5, Hard*3.
-Better Multiplayer:
Players should be able to use the chat commands by clicking on the names in the Player List instead of typing "/add user, /stats user, /kick user, /remove user, /w user message, /block user", Higher friend capacity.
Add personal chat room where you can manage your friendlist and look at there stats.
Add spectators spots.
Add Normal 1v1 stats.
Player should be able to report others for cheating (don't know how that would work, 7 minutes later I figured it out look below).
Add Moderators (somehow, I don't care becaus, the game needs it) which will be able to put an ingame ban on accounts.
Guest shouldn't be able to pm.
So Much More.
-Improve Unit A.I.
-Let players look at unit stats (add it in the menu or in a match)
-Improve Balance, which will lead to adding a few new stuctures and units
-Improve Gameplay:
The biggest complaint I have about Colony now is the "cancel" action. It has no hoykey, and if you press another commands hotkey you will not be refunded.
There are so many more things I would love to see but, I don't think they are possible using Flash.
That is what will make Colony 2 everlasting, plus some overkill things.
soy all your ponits i could not agreee more with...and when i said colony 2 i was short on time so did not have time for a long list....but i still belive that if done correctly colony 2 could be extreamly sucsessful....there were some good sugestions on page 1 of the GCD. buteven i must admit krin needs to do somthing big, fast becase the game is picking up no new players beccase their all being thrashed by pros foxing.....and its rather boring when playing good people that you are doomed bacicaly if you dont do some equivalant of bank-outpost-hosp....the game badly needs some spicing up and what you said about rankings for 1v1s i think that it is unpractical and will only show who has best fox ..........but a seprate ranking systmen for 1v1s would be rather cool
