There's another unit that becomes extremely useful in many situations. It's called the marine. And they only cost 2 manpower!!!
If you have one million of them, they can destroy any unit in the game. Just build 3 War Sanctums and a post and keep pumping them out. When you reach 100 million marines attack. Game over. They will even beat the mighty Groditz!

Capitalist is overpowered, the amount of resource gain allows u to screw around and adapt to your opponent a lot more.

The sacrafice scout works splendidly, and for anyone else reading this, it is a lot harder than that sounds. Need to have a fast reaction and good micro.

I'm just trying to find new strategies, and Groditz has worked before, just not in Normal or Cold war.

About charging Marines, that's a good idea but you will take fire from the scouts. I can easily spread my armada into 4 groups to reduce the damage. Marines are really super broken, but at the top level of play people should be able to beat them with scouts.

Groditz and Gladiatiors are worse than $H1T, they are more like dog $H1T that people step on...the only thing that is on par with a groditz is another groditz in terms of use...
Btw, whats the order of build speed? I know that Facist is fastest and Monarchy is slowwww, but is Commi slower than Cap?

It really doesn't matter. One person might not be able to reach 1,000,000 Marines. Flash has its limitations, and maintaining 1,000,000 overlapping objects with numerous variables is way too much for it to handle. Even the Smartfox server Jetzul reaches its limit before Flash can.

Grodtiz are actaully really powerful. In low tech I imagine games being a standoff between Phantom-Scout versus Meditec-Grodtiz. Not to mention the possible Monarchy derp stuff. I had a 2v2 strategy that revolved around the Grodtiz (in Colony v6.1), which I made solely with a pro from the birth of Colony (RenegadePalyer). Really strong, and took me 2 days to come up with.
A28-Gladiators are good sponges. They love to soak up the pains of the battlefield. You really don't need Meditecs to make 1 or 2 useful. The Meditecs are only for a pure android army.
Monarchy Commi and Capi all have the same build speed.
Groditz arent useless though the timing window in which they come in is rather awkward. It's too late to help in the early game and too weak for the late game.
They are pretty much support units and are quite useful in pins and countering dual builds.
Gamemaster here believe or not because of being bored i read through all comment posted on this since late 09 this is my first time posting on this thread and i believe that I'm a well respected and known player I would like to make a few suggestions though in my opinion are completely hopeless because krin cant update and it will be about 6 year until colony 2 comes out which by then the colony player base will have moved on... but anyways i wanted to suggest ---> next post
