So, since my last competition was pretty much a discussion, I'll now close that and move over to this general colony discussion (the others are all specific)
TALK ABOUT ANYTHING RELATED TO COLONY (and beef burgers)
I was about to release an update last week with new units, new ranks, and a lot of other fixes, but Larry's given me the green light for SmartFox integration so now I will implement that first then release that all together.
Yup, I will attempt to fix hacks in that update as well. Just give me a while, working on it as fast as I can Here will be the new units/buildings for the next patch:
* War Sanctum: Tier-3 Hospital. Builds the 'Saint.'
* Farsniper: Really long range ground sniper. Siege threat.
* Saint: Air drone with Air-to-Air Positron cannons (Same as the Hover Tank). Against ground, it has rapid firing positron bullets.
* A27-Pride: Slightly more durable than the Roman, and has rapid firing long range pulse rifles with splash damage. Effective as support fire against grouped up enemy units.
These units still need some balancing but we'll get to that. You can now also 'generate' influence from the Special Ops Center, and most influence units will have their costs reduced.
Does anyone know what the A-28 Gladiator was good for other than quickly covering ground and blocking missle assaults? It had a rapid fire pulse rifle and had good armor, but in what role was it truly effective?
