Let me try and get some good discussion going again

The new update is coming up. Me and Jerry discussed the Sakata Spider. We basically agreed that it has barely any use now and with the new update coming there will literally be no use.

Spiders are only useful against a Groeditz army, and there are other much more cost effiecient units that can easily handle groeditz.

So with the new update coming, would you like to see them tweaked (if so how?) or would you like to see them kept the same, or just completey discarded?

I'd like to see Sakata Spider's speed increased drastically. I mean really fast, like you're going to fly. Then make it slightly cheaper.

Increasing the range would just make it a variant of tank. This is the same with increasing power or having splash damage.

Buff up range a liiitle, and buff HP, regen, speed slightly, HP enough to survive at least 1 missile hit.

They need to be quick beefcakes with regen. Up the speed & HP, maybe give the regen a boost. They need to be able to outrange most units except spiders.

They need to be quick beefcakes with regen. Up the speed & HP, maybe give the regen a boost. They need to be able to outrange most units except snipers.


I completely agree with these ideas. The main thing I want the spider to do is be able to put a nasty dent into hovers, right now it isn't even fair with how much a hover out guns one. They are comparable in cost, but yet I'm not even sure if a spider can get a shot off on a hover.

the air and ground sakata cant kill a hover but if u gather them up then they will kill a whole group of hovers becuse of there blast damage, problem is they cant get that close

Sakata spiders do not have splash damage. MKII do though.

Well this new update will basically make this a whole new game, so in essence you will have your Colony 2.

Strange...apparently, our enemy saw the game (and had to play it) low tech, while me and iwazbord saw it as safe skies...I created it as safe skies.

Meh, they would've lost if I hadn't made hovers anyway.
