A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.

Well, that said, heres the rules:

1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)!
2) It must fit the weeks theme
3) It must be submitted before the deadline
4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written)
5) One Submission per user
6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)

Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...

The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond

Time I tried a Haiku again..

A blade of grass fights,
Struggles for freedom and light;
Unnoticed by men.

Not glorious, but anyway this is my interpretation of the theme, a hard one btw.

In case you're speaking about mine, only because it does not contain the words 'brick' or 'wall' doesn't mean it doesn't fit the topic.

Okay, so, Emperor Palpatine is part of our lineup. Dudeguy will judge this round, Emp's got the next, and then me, and repeat.

Since we have that, we still can participate. As long as we are not judging the round and we didn't pick our own theme.

I never said anything about bias. They want the Merit system here to come back (acmed). That is why Ghost recommended more judges.

More judges will subsequently have more participants. And actually... I got an idea...

From now on, the winner chooses the theme. It brings in more participation and is the closest thing to a merit we got. If we can keep up a good beat, we can get AMW back on top!
