A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond
It's alright Orion; we understand. Or at least I do. Heck, when I tried judging, no one even decided to participate, so how do you think that makes ME feel? I say you should continue judging and ignore these low-ranked point grabbers.
These are continued contests, with different themes. After this, the judge is going to pick a different theme besides "love" and the thread will continue.
It would kinda be...cluttered if there were many threads of different themes that only last for a week >_<
If there is a topic contest it should be locked after the winners are released. Thats what I just think.
Usually the title gets changed instead. They are just waiting for a new theme. But don't worry, it will probably be up in the matter of hours, and you can have a try at that instead.
Bah; I wasn't in the top 5 last contest, but you guys assume we all were. If Orion isn't up to continue being judge, then I want someone who takes time to consider which place is given to whom. Even though this is a haiku and there is hardly any room for likes/dislikes, I don't want just any judge, I want one who would take time to judge and be punctual with it.
