A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond
Listen everyone, I don't think I'll be bale to judge this week, so if someone feels benevolent enough... My girl just dumped me, and I'm utterly destroyed by the turn of events, much more than I ever thought I would be, so if anyone has always wanted to try and judge, here's your chance. I won't be picky...
Sorry m8. I'd be cool judging, and I think Waluigi would be a good judge as well. Only thing though Waluigi is that if you wanted to win, you wouldn't be able to give yourself the win. I won last week, and my Haiku this week sucks, so its your call.
The old dusty trail Caravans with families Finding a new way
This is about the migration period during the california gold rush and how families took caravans across the Oregon trail (the old dustytrail) in this case.
There are some heavy storms projected to be in my area later on today and tomorrow, and the weatherman are expecting power outages. Combined with visitation with my Dad, I'll have the judging up by early Monday at the latest, though I'll try to have it up on Sunday.
The round will close at Midnight tonight, or in 14 Hours, 6 Minutes, and approx. 30 seconds.
