A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond
ive never seen someone have a conversation with themselves before.... o.o
You haven't seen nothing yet. Don't you talk to yourself sometimes when you're alone Moon? In any case, it was very late and I was tired like no tomorrow so I forgot..some...things...
Thanks a lot Avorne. On that post, back to Milan Kundera for me.
Hello everyone, it's monday today, and even though I said the deadline was next week, I can judge today seeing how it's been a while since I saw any new entries. It's your decision to make; if you wish it, it'll be done before midnight.
Well since I've seen that post at 11:31, it'll surely be after midnight but okay. After that it'll be set on a more casual routine. (the thread's deadline I mean) So, from this post on, entries are officialy closed! Oh God, my first judging, I'm pretty stressed out, hope I won't deceive you guys!
Gwahr, you got me! Well, I've got some chores to finish before judging so if anyone wants to put a finishing touch to his haiku, it's time. You've got about two hours, this one's for you too Samy^^.
