A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond
Now I get it, you left your post as a judge to participate huh? Nimble, nimble Enter. Nice Haiku, I remember the mediatic turmoil that accident caused...hmmm, spectacular in a certain way.
Well Enter, I was obviously joking ^^. And what with that humongous blank space in your post, you fell asleep on your space? Well Player, that definitely feels like a Beatle song
Part time Judge, or full time Judge? Because even though I'd like to be for some time, it saddens me that I won't be able to participate anymore...Well, either way, if no one's up to the task, I'd be glad so sure, why not. Just Give me some news about wheter it'll be just for some weeks or for EVER!
Well it seems like I'm your new judge everyone, bow down and work for me, mwuhahaha... Just kidding, I'm not one of those who go despotically crazy when they earn power...maybe... In any case, even though my first tongue's not english, I'm quite the bookworm, and I do fine at analysing symbolism and common litterature so I'll do my best. Those of you who know me are aware that I've been on Ag for a good while now, and are equally aware that I do my best at being objective and constructive so I wish good luck to everyone, I'll do my best to be a ponctual and fair judge. Now, after that prolix speech, I leave you to compose your Haikus.
