A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond
I know, I was just being humoristic ^^. Anyhow, if I can manage to choose a theme everyone will like, it's all the more fun no? Okay...Zombie would be VERY funny...
Decayed and rotten Impelled by the need of BRAINS Flesh with no soul walks
The only persone keeping you from writing one yourself...a priori...
monotony boredom apathy
Those are my kind of themes, hmmm...I'll think about that.
What? NO! I want realism
I'll be sure to respect the retreated judge's demand. Anyways, the judging'll be done tonight. It may be very late (past 12:00) so don't get your hopes up, you may be better off getting to bed and having the results tommorow morning while eating your captain crunch. Good job everyone, keep it up!
Well it's almost two in the morning and I need some serious sleep so I won't go with a full bodied judging now. This week, Wolf1991 deserves the first place and the merit. Don't worry, there'll eventually be a complete judging post. I suggest you look forward to it, some people may be surprised; you all did a good job! Also, I tried to mix up some off the suggestions together and I came up with Manipulation, so manipulation shall the next theme be; it's prone to many different interpretations, so it might prove to be quite interesting. Explanations tommorow!
