A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond
Oh Freakenstein, are you seriously expecting a boost in entries from a word not commonly known by those who have not studied Shakespeare?
I first learned of that word before studying shakespeare actually. You want to know how? Well, Ash's last legitimate class in Vandal Heart is Paragon. God bless video gaming, how much has it thaught me over the year...I wonder...
As for last round's judging, congratulation wolf. I won't say I'm not disappointed but how well, that's how it goes.
Happy 250th page everyone! We've strung that contest pretty far by now and I'm sure it'll keep on going for a good while. I'd like to thank Maverick, the initiator of that contest, along with every user that has judged up to now. A special thank you to Freak, who has proven to be quite helpful these last weeks, judging whenever I wasn't there to do so. Of course, all those who participated and continue to do so are as important as the rest; thanks to all of you who submit every week and keep this contest rolling!
You know...i was thinking about this, and i wasnt sure how else to put it(though i think it need's fine tuning), it's not the best but it will have to do...hope i didn't make a mistake changing my entry!
