A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.

Well, that said, heres the rules:

1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)!
2) It must fit the weeks theme
3) It must be submitted before the deadline
4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written)
5) One Submission per user
6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)

Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...

The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond

ah my mistake. but still.
I mean it isn't smart to enter a contest about something that you dont know what it is, but you don't really even give a chance.

And if you have a sense of humor you would of played along with the monkey thing "> >

AND NOT REFERED BACK TO THE GUY/DUDE THING.
I was just playing and you seemed to get all mad < <"

I didn't think there was any real response to that...

AND NOT REFERED BACK TO THE GUY/DUDE THING.

I was just playing and you seemed to get all mad < <"

That's still not even close to a Haiku.

Without wanting to sound cruel trablis:

It clashes with thunder today

Wrong number of syllables - the first like of a haiku should have 5 not 7
it draws near with a thunder bolt

The second line should have 7 syllables not 8
it hits harder then death

The last line of a haiku should have 5 syllables not 6 - and you spelt 'than' wrong (it should be 'it hits harder than death'.

I hope that with my advice you can go forward and make your haiku into a thing of beauty.

0.o Is this based on a real story? Because then I would classify it as a tragedy. The victim: People.

LOL. No my haiku was not based on a real story. And HEY! My body isn't ugly. It's beautiful.

Rain, rain go away
I've no time for you to stay
And come again some other day.

Meh; I'm pretty sure lines 1 and 3 are public domain.

That's eight syllables. Which means it's not a Haiku. Try again.

Shh; constructive criticism possum. That was originally my second line without the and.

Rain, rain go away
I've no time for you today
Seasonal winds stay.

I'ma rhyme.

Deadline is today right? Who's judging? I don't think there are a lot of entries.
