A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond
I'm not being lazy this time, I'm just going to wait until after the poetry contest is judged (which is an excuse for me to be lazy). Their deadline is one day before ours, so I don't feel right judging this one before that one is judged.

It's all good, I think most of us have come to accept the fact that the results of the haiku contest are never immediate and are patient to this fact. Now as long as you don't wait like a month to judge then I think everyone should have patience!
waves never stop time can never stop itself time can never stop
Besides the fact that it does not fit the theme...and it being very late to be submitted... Stop rhymes with stop, also try not to be repetitive...good luck next round.
hey man. not cool. drugs ruin lives. [/quote] That made me lol a bit. I really do hope he did it to be funny and his mind isn't completely focused on double meanings for drugs.
