A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond
The merit winner for this contest is Murasaki9, after the judging of Acmed.
{The theme is Haiku Rap Battles of History. You must make a haiku rap verse for the haiku previous from you. To start it off, the first entrant must make a haiku rap about Acmed the judge, while the rest follow in sequence. Entry B raps about A, Entry C raps about B, so on and so forth. The winner of the contest will be the entrant of the best haiku rap. As is expected from rap-related content, please do not flame or be hateful towards the previous user.}
I had to delete the link for having offensive content, most notably offensive language, which also contained the theme and winner of the previous contest. So blame Acmed for the exotic theme and re-explanation of said theme!
