A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.

Well, that said, heres the rules:

1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)!
2) It must fit the weeks theme
3) It must be submitted before the deadline
4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written)
5) One Submission per user
6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)

Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...

The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond

You took the bullet,
in sacrifice, I realized,
that you saved my life.

If the sentence is over, we put a period at the end. Otherwise, the sentence would flow straight into the next sentence I'm hungry for Mexican food.

It's not a sentence unless it has at least one finite verb, as far as I know LOL is not a word therefore the sentence didn't have a verb which makes it a sentence fragment....

Haiku:

Two heart's beat as one
Romance is thick in the air

in sacrifice, I realized,

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven...eight. I think that's too many...

You need to change the name it still says theme service on the title and it's confusing.

Of course, us regular users have such complete control over that.

I only count 7.

Count again, but this time, allow me to make the different syllables a bit more obvious.

I love my love so
I hope she doesn't dump me

Might write a better one later.
