A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond
Sour just gives him slack cause he puts him second every week and the top 5 is always the same.New judge seriously.Just like Freakinstein said someone who doesn't get really mad, takes time and is enthuiseastic about it,Does the judging on time.Doesn't yell at people that keep this thread going. Not me I have two other threads to keep track of.
Has this been abandoned by the judges again? Also, wth with that flaming??!
Anyway, though I am sure Dudeguy will, once again, kick me for doing something I don't have the "authority" to do, I am going to set a theme, if not officially, then at least for people to have something to do while they wait. The theme will be "Snow storm", and will last until a judge once again takes charge, or a week or so.
I am sorry I was flaming but Orion is has abondoned his job which makes it hard to keep my temper so I am sorry.
This is supposed to be fun. That is the purpose of contests here, and while it might be frustrating, if you stop seeing it as fun, you might need to take a break. It wasn't you I meant, though.
Though there should be more control on this to make sure the contest doesn't get abandoned over and over again.
