If you could bring back one extinct animal, what would it be? And explain why.

I would bring back a Quagga 'cause they look so cool. A horse and zebra mixed.

A Quagga is a subspecies of your typical Plains Zebra. The Quagga's appearance is quite unusual.

I would probably bring back the Mammoth. Dinosaurs are too risky. Another other choice of mine would be the Haast's Eagle.

It would also be cool if European Lions and even American Lions still existed. You wouldn't need to go to Africa to see lions.

There are simply too many extinct animals I'd like to see myself.

Nah... They died for a reason (which was not being afraid of humans, but still)

A lot of the former wildlife in DK has either been hunted down and shot or has simply disappeared due to changes in how the fields and forests are looking... I would like to see some like the stork coming back (really back, not just a couple or two), the peregrine falcon... The wolf for that matter too.

well ya the hole mastadon/mammoth thing....

well theres so many to choose from, but i know one thing im not bringing back because it would drastically change things.

they calculated the shark to weigh up to 47 tons, when they compared this tooth to its closest relative, the Great White Shark.....

Yep. Mastodons look like mammoths but belong to family Mammutidae, while mammoths belong to the family Elephantidae.

Not really. The African and Asian Elephants belong to different genera. Mastondons and Mammoths belong to different families and thus are more different than African elephants are to Asian ones.

I would bring back none. My favorite extinct animals are Temnodontosaurus and the Terror Bird. But I wouldn't want to bring them back because they would mess up the Food Chain.

I would bring back the dodo, cause it's the archetype of an extinct species because it's extinction occurred during our recorder story. Also there is the expression "dead as a dodo" which would stop being used, the dodo is a legend and it would be great having some now.

ok riou you obviously didnt see why i said not to.

That thing is the Biggest. Known. Creature. In Existence.
bringing it back would cause major damage to the food chain, and might possibly cause Cthulhu to rise from the depths. so... enough about the shark.

Bah, Who cares! If i WANT to bring it back then i DO bring it back! Besides, this thread is about bringing back a single extinct animal from it's grave. There are no completely no restrictions whatsoever. So you can't stop me, besides who the hell or what the hell is a Cthulhu anyways? Some kind of retard probably...
